Ĉu vi povas aǔdi min nun?

I've meant to post the news a few weeks ago... A while ago, a very good friend of mine — a Bay Area (California) musician named Cyoakha Grace O'Manion — invited me to participate in the remix of "Church of the Holy Trees," a song recorded by her band Land of the Blind.

But here's the grabber: She asked me to record my voice, chanting the two key refrains of the song… in Esperanto.

Well, to cut a long story short, you'll be amazed to hear that I did indeed get that part done, and that the end result is finally on their latest CD, Shamans of Sound. There's a very brief excerpt from the track on the band's own website (it's the final fragment in the "three song sampler"), and a longer excerpt on their MySpace page.

You may have to strain your ears a mite to hear it — I'm somewhere in the background while Cyo's voice is up front — but it is there.

I wonder what Cyoakha will come up with next. A plan to kidnap me and bring me to Burning Man, perhaps?

Vi jam aŭdis, certe, ke neniu iras al Burning man ĉijare.
